What we do
Together, we impact our communities through life-changing outreaches and community actions. We aim to better the lives of malnourished people living under the poverty line and losing faith in humanity. We go above and beyond to ensure that life is worth living by providing basic amenities that help put a smile on the face no matter how “smol”.
At SMOL Foundation, we believe that everyone can make a change no matter how “smol”! We have seen firsthand how little efforts spread across every single heart and hand that have partnered or volunteered to work with us in making small changes that significantly impact. This is why we continue to do what we do!

Our Story
We believe that all lives are equal, and as such, no one should feel the sting of poverty.
In 2003 and through the leadership of the Holy Spirit, the Settle Me O’ Lord Foundation began operations. When we started, we did not know that what began as prompting in our hearts would provide food, education, and decent living for thousands of people across Nigeria. From 2003 until now, we have carried out over ten community social responsibility projects solely founded with a few donations from outsiders. Our firm belief is that to tackle poverty, there need to be concerted efforts from grassroots-based Non-profit organizations that are closer to the people and can feel their pulse and breath.
SMOL Foundation is registered as a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Lagos, Nigeria, with Registration CAC/IT NO: 121670. As word continues to spread about our work, the community works together with a team of ever-willing volunteers, board of trustees and directors who continue to make concerted efforts to make life better for the communities of interest one “smol” change at a time.
The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 led us to suspend activities. Just like every one of us who was hard hit by the pandemic, we are just finding our footing, and together, we are back, building and putting hope back into the communities hard hit by COVID.
Our Strategy
Our 2020-2040 long-term goal is to impact 5000 communities across Africa. Our long-term framework seeks to build on our already successful projects, strengthen some of them and replicate such across our communities of interest across Africa to the end that we may deliver a just, poverty-free and sustainable society wherever we pitch our tent of hope.
Our 2020-2025 Strategic Framework is aligned to the 20-year plan based on evidence, feedback, and field research that incorporates many perspectives from our stakeholders, communities of interest, and support team of volunteers. This strategic framework aims to provide critical direction for our organization over the next five years and measures itself against key performance indicators for what we have set out to achieve. The new operating model, effective operational plans and scope of operation will guide our operations and deliver the success we intend to accomplish as a foundation working in Africa for Africans.
