We are interested in raising funds to purchase insurance cover for women to help them access essential health care services that poverty has deprived them of.
Women represent the most vulnerable groups in different communities. Women, especially in Africa, lack access to basic health amenities, which has deprived them of the financial capability to pay for necessary health services.
How does the SMOL Foundation intend to tackle this enormous challenge? At SMOL Foundation, we believe that every community member is essential and should have access to the basic necessities of life. And health is the most important of them all. To achieve this, we have started this noble feat to signpost the plight of women in developing countries and raise funds to purchase insurance cover for women in communities that are denied or deprived of quality health services.
SMOL Foundation has provided free insurance packages for single mothers and low-income earning women in Lagos, Ekiti, and Ogun. This cause is primed to reach more women who are in dire need of this intervention. We cannot do this alone; we require all and sundry to address the sufferings of women in Nigeria and other countries in West Africa. Get involved with this cause and contribute to making health care services available to women who need them the most.
